The Yabby GeoSensing System developed for UIS drilling can be equally applied to SIS drilling to provide accurate geological integration that will assist longwall mine planning in advance of the current face. Our system includes workflows for geomodeling using historical “end of joint” gamma or merging memory and other continuous formation evaluation signals. The surface Yabby system can also be used, utilising the same custom software and sensors developed for UIS to automatically generate depth-based rock properties, gas, water and cuttings flow logs to complement (or replace) LWD and well testing. This gives you the answers you need with high resolution and certainty at a fraction of the cost of comparable oil and gas style systems.
